Halle Berry gonna be a momma!

September 5, 2007 11:33am CST
Halle Berry is three months pregnant with her first baby. In a September 4 e-mail to Access Hollywood, the Oscar-winning actress confirmed she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. "Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life," Berry wrote. "Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life!" The publication In Touch Weekly says the 41-year-old Berry is due to give birth on February 14 - Valentine's Day. The magazine also says she will be carefully monitored due to her age and the fact she is a diabetic. She reportedly is being treated by a doctor who specializes in high-risk pregnancies. An insider told the magazine that Berry began undergoing fertility treatments in February. Halle Berry won a 2002 Best Actress Academy Award for Monster's Ball. Her new film, Things We Lost In The Fire, will open October 26. She met Gabriel Aubry in November, 2005. http://www.voanews.com/english/Entertainment/2007-09-05-voa37.cfm ------------------------------------------------ Now I can't understand why other than she just seems like a really sweet person, but I am so excited for her. I don't know her and most likely will never even meet her, but I was just too tickled to read this story this morning. Feel free to pick a question -- So what are your thoughts on this news? Excited for as well? Don't care? Hally who? Share your opinion and why. Have you ever been excited in a stranger’s good news? What was it. Should we know when a Celeb is having a baby or is that just too personal for the press to be printing? Why or why not? ? ? ?Thanks in advance, and you got it, I read all and rate all. ? ? ?

Halle Berry is one of the actresses that I like. She's got the body and the gorgeous face.I can't even imagine myself squeezing myself in the skin-tight costume she used in one of her movies.LOL

I can't even imagine myself squeezing myself in the skin-tight costume she used in one of her movies.LOL HA I can, when I was 12, LOL. But I think I wouldn't be able to handle having her looks, I would most likely be so darn vain it would not be funny. I think that is why I like her so much, she isn't.

Yap!It really takes a lot of humility to be like her. Some women usually flaunt their attractiveness and thinks that they are God's chosen children.LOL You know what, I'm really amazed by these actresses. They get pregnant, get so big and after getting birth, you won't ever know that they actually given birth because of ther vava-voom figures! What's the secret, huh?!!!

Isn't she the one with the temper who becomes violent? Forgive me if I'm wrong....sounds a bit scary if it's the one I'm thinking of.

No I think you talking about Naomi the model that clocked her maid in the head with her cell phone and did jail time for it. I have not heard of Hallie being violent. She was in an abusive relationship at one time, but she was the punching bag. :o(

That is exciting news!! Go Halle! I know how you feel :) She seems like she'd be a great mom! I have been excited over others pregnancy news as well. Gwen Stefani - because I knew how much and how long she's wanted babies. Christina Aguilera's as well :) Courtney Cox because she had LOADS of problems. Holly Marie Combs because she seems like such a great person and would make a great mom. Those are a few that I can pull off the top of my head :) But anyone who struggles with infertility & fertility and they are (or seem like) good people then I get excited. Just because of my personal experience with it. The other question though about if we should know or not...well I guess it's none of our business but as regular people that is news we love to spread around as well. So I can understand the press on this :)

I think that is good news especially for women who are undergoing fertility treatment. I wonder if she will have a multiple birth as so often happens with fertility patients.

It is painfully obvious that she has wanted a child for a while, and it nice that she was able to afford to make that dream come true. I hope she and the baby stay healthy, but I really hope that the relationship between her and Gabriel will stay solid, no matter what.

Well it's about time, Halle! She said on Oprah (a couple of years ago) that 40 was her cutoff for herself for having children. Guess she changed her mind. I'm glad she's preggo. My hubby LOVES her and it will be nice to see her pork out a little bit, LOL.
