heart palpitations

a friend of mine is still experiencing heart palpitations in the morning. before.he takes meds in the morning as prescribed by the doctor. today, he was advised to take the meds in the evening. he can't help but worry

I suffered from heart palpitations and I was given beta blockers to steady my heartbeat. When they didnt work I was given an ECG and they just said that it was stress getting to me not to mention the fact I was stressing over them in the first place. If the doc is really worried he would have sent your friend for and ECG straight away rather than trying pills. Tell your friend to try and find other things to do that might take his mind off of his problem because stressing about it will just make it a whole lot worse. If the doc isnt too worried, then he shouldn't be either. hope that helps!

yes, you're right! he worries more than his doctor does.actually, my friend had an ecg already as per his request,not the doctor's request. result is ok, nothing to worry. txs
