I have often wondered what would happen if there were double the number of hours. Certainly we would not sleep for twelve hours. Would live be more productive then? The working hours at office would ceratinly be more. Lazy people would be lazier, and hard workers would work even more hard and make better profits...

i dont'think there are some basical differences between 48 hours and 24 hours in a day. maybe you think you can live longer, but do you really need a long life? 24 hours in a day, it is enough. we can't work over 24 hours, so even we have more time, then we just sleep for a rest. now i spend 10 hours online everyday, then i feel very tired, and i have to sleep before 12:00 at night.

Well if it was something major then there might have to be adjustments. Imagine if we had Venus' rotation scheme? Its about 6000 hours to complete one day there. I'm guessing if there were more hours we could adjust it. I think that means keeping the regular schedule of things instead of mindlessly doubling things. There is no way I'm working 20-24 hours straight in a day. Aint happening. Now if it was divided into 4 or more sections and mitigated that way then fine. That would be pretty nice.

I often wondered what life would be like if we had more hours in a day or more days in a year, like some of the other planets in the solar system. Personally I could use more days in a year and several more hours in a day.
