Hey Molly... i think we do not always know beforehand which to do first. In this case it will be good to take charge and let your "character" choose at that moment.
In english we say "a person developes character", meaning to act upon a difficult moment in the proper, but sometimes a risky way.
But i am interseted in that photo you posted of the house and water. Is that China? It has a nice calmness. Thanks for showing that pic! I did not know you are the photographer, haha! goodbye for now.

yes I unsderstand, but the snow is pretty also, but the sun gives you a feeling of re-birth. As a child I grew up in the state of Pennsylvania, snows a lot there too.

Yeah....I have got what u mean. in the process of dealing with the tasks we develop our own character . we can form our strong character in coping with the more difficulites and in doing this we become more strong.. the character in turn can help us in dealing with all kinds of risks..
That picture is the south china..really beautiful .u can see calm lake and the beautiful scenery there..it's a pity I live in the north china..haha..but here is good........
In these days it snowed a lot so as to all the things here were covered with white snow . I haven't seen the sun ray for a few days ..really admire u...haha..enjoying the sunshine is also a kind of pleasure......hence I find that I often take for granted the things close to my heart most of the time I treasure them almost at the point they have gone.......

it could be any, what is more required and more wise should be done first. some thing that is stable, shows you the right path and makes ou feel happier in the long run.

Hi,my lovable friend,
In my view I will choose the thing which is urgent b/c it needs us to do first,Then at the time when I finished the urgent thing,Then I will consider the important thing,My aim is to do both of them well in a limited time.

It seems like the urgent things might should come first since they are urgent,then i would take care of those first then i would start on the important things..It really depends on the situation..If it is a bill are due for example and one is of your utililites are about to be turned off then i would do that first..

I understand what you mean since there are important things that are not urgent. If I will have this situation today, I would prefer to accomplish first the urgent things since I know it needs to be done for some reason, might be some deadline or needs to be done for us to get the next level of our work and will work the important things!

I would pick an urgent thing before I pick an important thing. Like my children are important, but turning off the burner when the pot is overflowing would be urgent and would need my attention right away.

Well, I would choose the importange thing heer if the urgent thing is not an important one. That's a common sense that we should always take care of urgent & important things in first priority in our daily operation so as to make everything clear in our career.
Well, for the urgent but not important things, we should try to ignore them. But for important but not urgent things, we should finish it timely before it becomes a urgent & important thins. For not urgent & of less importance things, just get rid of it.

I don't think there is a difference at all. Because once a thing is urgent for sure it is important,too. So in that case, I'll go for urgent thin. Because I know, in that case, I am hitting two birds in one stone.
