What comes first; Career or Family?

There's a difference between; providing for your family and spending time with them; and providing more than you need for your family but missing out on time with them. It comes down to; "SURVIVE TO WORK" or "WORK TO SURVIVE". Do you put your family first, or your career? I spend time with my child, and i provide for us.

that is a difficlut problem, as a mother, you are so great. but for me, both of them are important , i wish my family and my career will in the same city.

Both ARE very important, but when you have children or/and a partner, they should come first, so if you are "surviving to work" instead of "working to survive" then you are being selfish and not meeting your responsibility as a parent and/or partner. It's just my opinion.

if you can balance out between work and family, everything would be great, but there is alot of time people dont seem that. they either spend too much time at work and not spend time with family or the other way around and not making enough money, it need a good balance to keep both going

Hi there. Well in my life, my family come first... I like to get my family and home organised, then I feel I can accomplish anything, meaning going out to work, with a peace of mind and getting the job done right, so I can come home to my family again, to do all over the next day...
