anyone familiar with streetfoods?it is foods sold and often seen on streets(hence the name)... These foods are not sealed or kept inside a container. These foods are freshly cooked/grilled,arranged on sticks and dipped on special sauces. My discussion interests here is the fried quail eggs,or known as "kwek-kwek".The food may sounds funny, but the taste,oh man, really yummy. "Kwek-kwek" is only available here in the Philippines.Very unique, isn't it? Physically,it is small,an average size of a ping-pong ball, coated with flour and fried freshly on cooking oil. This food looks cute,as if your eating a toy or something like stuffed thingies. "kwek-kwek" goes best with vinegar, added with a li'l twist of spicy chili sauce. There's a variety of sauces to choose from, but i prefer this mixture coz it complies with the taste. "Kwek-kwek" usually seen on foodcarts near churches, schools and malls, here ONLY in the Philippines. This costs little that anyone can afford to eat this a thousand times. But,before you take a bite of this innocuous treat, take some precautions. You must assure that your resource complies with sanitary preparations regarding on cooking and serving the menu.Safety first.. So guys, why don't you just give it a try...have a bite of "kwek-Kwek",proudly unique and delicious!!mmm
