Why would it be bad to use Colgate as toothpaste again and again. I don't see any reason why it would be bad. Colgate is a good name brand. A lot of people use it. I also use Colgate to clean my teeth and I brush my teeth three times a day. No harm in brushing your teeth with Colgate. It would do more harm I guess if you don't brush your teeth. You would have plaque build up that will eventually be cavities in your teeth.

whether you use colgate or any other brand, it does not matter, the important thing is that you are brushing your teeth/ most toothpaste has flouride to counteract plaques. the water we use contributes to the factor.

I can't see why it would be bad for your teeth to use the same brand over and over... unless it's a bad brand to begin with. Most toothpastes have similar formulas, so you're probably going to be OK with whatever brand you use. In the U.S. toothpastes usually have a seal on them from the American Dental Association. Any brand with that seal should be fine.

Well, my mum always tells me the same saying here. I suppose it should be better if we use different brand of toothpaste in order to keep the teeth more healthy. You know, the tooth worm would get used to and become immuned for one toothpaste if it is used to kill them too long.:) WBR,Andy

It's just a myth. You may use the same tooth paste for ages, as long as you'll be brushing your theet corectly. The same goes with cosmetics. It's not possible for your skin to become resistent to ingredients of cosmetics. I remember that some people say that if youuse cream with collagen in a young age you'll get old quicker xP That's not going to happen but your skin excrete things it dooesn't need so it starts to shine when you use bad kind of cosmetics.

I think it's bad.Just like using medicament and cosmetic. If you always use the same brand ,your tooth (or body and skin )maybe have the resistibility .so, I usually change my colgate /medicament/cosmetic's brand.

Hello wonderful!!:) I think what's bad for our teeth is if we're not brushing eat specially before going to bed. The food that will be stuck in out teeth contributes to the plaque that is in our teeth, and brushing, flossing, and gargle with mouthwash helps prevent cavities. But regular visit to the dentist is also a must.
