I couldn't help but feel jumpy and nervous everytime my cell phone rings or beeps for a message. my landline phone is not even spared from this newly found freakish phobia of mine.it all started with some bad news that became successive. i read some articles and even watched testimonials on how to manage this crazy phobia of mine. i know there are a lot of people who's got the same problem but just associates it as some "normal" daily stress headache..well for me it's not. everytime my phone rings i try to take deep breaths and i pray real hard that it's not some bad news. i know some of you may find it weird but honestly it's happening to me. HELP WANTED.

I understand, my mother is in the hospital and although she is out of intensive care her condition is still serious so whenever the phone rings I think its news that she's taken a turn for the worse or even...I've been jumpy for awhile though and its not just cell phones that render me jumpy....I have mine on vibrate.

Maybe you should live your life without phones for a while... like, turn off your celphone and disconnect your landline... or better yet... tone down the ringing volume of your landline phone to a point that only those who are very near it will hear and they will be the one to answer... this is the first time that i encountered a phobia of telephones...
