What kind of gifts are a great of value to you?

Think about all the gifts we get thorough the life. There are many things that comes our way. some of them with great value to us and some which we wish we never have gotten.
My son gave me a heart he made on his own in school. A red heart looked like a pillow. This has a great value to me. It lies on my bed every day. The day I do no longer can take care of my self and have to move to a place for older people I will have this with me.
I also got a neck less once that I never take of. It has a great value to me to. I will give this to my daughter when she gets married. (give something old)
I have got a lots of gifts that I hoped I never gotten. But what are you suppose to say or do when someone gives it in the spirit of love?
It is the thought that counts, not the gift it self. But some gifts do have a great value don´t you think so?.

I like gifts that are from the heart. I don't care if its something made, or bought, though I tend to like something made cause that shows person put a lot of time. It is always the thought that counts

when you say gift..it does not necessary mean something or materials. For me, the greatest i ever received is my daughter. She's the most wonderful that i can't afford to lose. Material things means nothing for me...seeing my daughter healthy always is something that i will thank God everyday.

Yes, you are so right. That is what the question was for. To find out how we think about this. I like the gifts that are less materials than thoughtful. The handmade things are more of value than what you by. It´s my opinion to.

Hi there. The gifts I value the most, are really the ones that are handmade, especially if our children have made them, with there bare hands... I love hand made gifts and ornaments, as they have more sentimental value and also they have that special touch of who evers made them on it...

Hi and thanks for responding. I think as you. I do not like when people by things you do not need, or want. I try to tell my family what I need, however sometimes it is more fun to get something you did not expected but have had as a dream to get once. The children have their heart at the right spot. They do not have any money to spend, and make their gifts on hand. I like that. It´s the thought that counts more than the gifts itself. I mean they have not forgotten your day to celebrate....

Hello!
I'll never forget a gift - a big toy dog sent by my best friend. That day, unexpectedly, I received a gift- a big toy dog. It looked wonderful. Then , my best friend called me from his office. Suddenly I realized it was my birthday. He had ordered a table at a good restaurant. I felt the real friendship between us. Now every time I see the gift, I will think of the pleasant feeling.

the gifts which having great value for me is anything that my husband giving to me. coz whenever he gave me something, i know he already tried hard to find it and giving it by his love. so no matter the forms of the gift that he gave to me, it will be so much precious for me

the gifts that i have received in my life that are the most of value to me are the ones as to which my daughter or my nepew have made me... my daughter for mothers day last year painted and cut out a heart, she glued lace around it and cut out a pictue of herself in a heart and placed it in the middle of the painted heart... then for my birthday one year my nephew paintd one of those little heart shaped craft boxes and put stickers of cinderella on it ( my favorite) as a birthday gift. My daughters picture is on the wall and my nephews box is in my bahtroom .its were i keep all my fvorite daily worn jewelry... Also i have gifts from my husband from when we were dating in highschool, poems he wrote and love letters and just because cards.. all of these as to which have very specail value to me..

when i was a student, i received a bottle of water as a birthday gift. it is a common bottle of water. when i received it, then i feel very angry, is it a present? a bottle of water? only 15 cents.
but i was moved by his words. he said i'm a pure girl, like the pure water. i think every girl will be moved when sh hears it. but i don't become his girlfriend, because it is too early for me to make a boyfriend. now he has married, and live a happy life. and i have found my Mr.Right, and we love each other very much.

Anything that my son and my husband gave to me, i value it most. Like for example my son loves to draw and most of the time he draws and gave it to me, sometimes he draw a heart and color it or sometimes made a card for me and for his dad, i kept it so that when he grow up, i can still show it to him and remind to him the things he do when he is young.

I really like getting cards and handmade gifts from people. It just feels goog to know that they put in all the time and effort to do something really special just for you. It comes right from the heart. Bought gifts are great, but its the meaning behind something that is given that matters the most to me.

i myself thinhk that a valuable gifl not mean a very expensive gilf.On my birthday ,even a congratulation from my fiends or family can aslo make me very happy!!Sometimes,one give me a very valuable gilf ,it make me worried ,by any way....i don't know ,it's just my felling...
