Clan Chat, your thoughts.

Clan Chat has been on runescape for a little while now, and I would like to know what you all think of it?
Personally I am very pleased with it, my friend has the channel that is specificaly for the runescape based forum I use, and it makes it so much easier to just chat to all the people from the forum that I know but don't actually have added to my friends list.
I think it's great that I don't have to continually click onto the friends chat interface and then a specific friend when I want to say something, especially if i want to say the same thing to more than 1 friend at a time. This is really useful when I am in combat (which I usually am) as I can either keep an eye on my stats interface (keeping an eye on my hp) or hover my cursor over food/pots/teles ect.
What do you guys think to the new clan chat?

I like clan chat. Many of the people that want to contact me always add me as a friend, and my friendlist is full these days. Though I am worried that I will offend someone if they come into clan chat and don't have their smiley face. I am having to continully remove and add people each day, because they either want to ask a question or I have to deliver orders to customers. Sometimes i'll remove someone, then suddenly they just start talking to me soon after and i'll have to add them back.
Now I'm starting to tell people that if they see me to go in clan chat to talk to me because my fiend list is full.
I think most of what I just said was rumbling... lol

no, it's not rambling lol, i understand completely, it doesn't really take too long to fill your friends list if you are happy to add people to it.
and i know of people that have to end up removing people they haven't actually chatted to recently so as to add someone else for; say trading purposes ect...
clan chat has definately helped alot of people i know because of the limited friends list space.

clan chat is by far one of the best updates in runescape for all the reasons that u have told already. it really helps in the wild to communicate with ur partners because takes away the need of opening the friend's list and then searching for the name of the person to send the message to. it also helps to communicate in wild because my private chat is always off when pking.

i personally don't use it in the wilderness, but that's because i don't pk. but i can certainly see the advantages of not having to use the normal friends list.
