Ads for Life Insurance....using children..

What do you think about the ads for life insurance using children on the ads? The ones where the child or mother and children are wondering what they will do if the dad or husband dies...As far as life insurance...do you think that they are using the children to make money for the insurance companies?..I can't afford life insurance and I know a lot of others who can't either...

I actually find them very depressing. I am 53 and my wife is 49 and neither of us has life insurance. We keep talking about it yet we haven't dome shopping/research on it.
