Are there any companies, brands or stores that you boycott?

Why do you boycott them? Is it because of their actions, experiences that you had with them or something else? I often boycott Nestle items, Wal-mart and L'Oreal products because of the corporation's policies and/or past actions. I will also never buy brands of dog food that were associated with the pet food recalls because I pretty much don't trust them anymore. How about you?

I boycott The Body Shop because their stuff got my skin and lips irritated twice and I don't trust their product quality and lost interest and confidence in their brand. I never go in to buy anything after my unhappy experience with their products.

I don't like L'Oreal either. I TRY to look at who is testing on animals and stay away from them but I am sure I don't always do so. A lot of people ban Wal-Mart and I rarely shop there but I don't really have a ban on them. I am just not a big fan of anything about them, including their policies past and present. I totally will not buy the recalled dog food companies' stuff. I no longer trust them and I am afraid it will happen again. I will not ever buy Martha Stewart products. She blew it and I am not giving her my money again. That is about it. If I find out about a company that is doing some really wicked testing on animals (cosmetics or skin care mostly), I won't buy from them. If I hear of a store or factory that has poor policies and aren't cleaning things up, I will stay away in general as well. I remember when Kathy Lee (Gifford) was found to be employing slave labor for her line of clothes. I never bought another thing with her name on it. I don't even know if she still has that line but she did for a long time after I imposed my little ban.
