How do you make your toe nails look pretty?

I usually pick one day a month and make it a home spa day. That's when I pluck my eyebrows, give myself a good facial, manicure, pedicure, trim my hair or do any touch ups needed. It's a wonderful way to give yourself a treat and makes you feel good about yourself. My pedicure routine goes like this: I always file the tops of my toenails straight across or just barely rounded. I also smooth out the rough spots by slightly filing the entire front of the nail. My toenails naturally grow with little ridges and that doesn't look very nice. Then I soak my feet up to my ankles in hot water and scrub them with an exfoliating scrub, scrape off any cuticle build up and push the cuticles back just like you do for your fingernails. While my feet are still damp I use a pumice stone on any calluses and pluck out any stray toe hairs. When my feet are dry I put a nice clear polish on the nails. As soon as the polish dries I slather my feet with a thick foot lotion that I make with shea butter, cocoa butter, glycerine, jojoba and rice bran oil. I wear a clean pair of white cotton socks until the next day. It's amazing how pretty it makes your feet look.

Yup get a professional manicure and pedicure for $35 LOL I do that at least once a month. The nail polish on my nails tend to come off after two weeks but the nail polish on my toes, stay on longer! They say I should do it every week but I can't afford that LOL Once a month or every so often is enough for me. It's something I do to pamper myself once a month or so.

well, where i live its winter time most of the time (not really, but the weather requires socks)... we have sandal weather for about5 months out of the year, but i still wear nail polish on my toes all year round even if i am the only one that sees it...this is something i do for ME!

i wear nail polish all year round lol. i hate feet i think there ugly but with a bit of nail polish they look so much nicer
