what is Itatchi's intention?

why did he kill all uchiha? is it really just to unlock the Mangekyo or is it a more deeper and morbid plan? I heard that Itatchi did this on purpose, to bred Sasuke to a state where he would hate itatchi so much, but why? Give me your insight...

Itachi just want to live his with nobody pushing arround so he killed his family to leaving no trace! He didnt killed sasuke because he knew is potencial and he is no treath for him! Sasuke is a uchiha noob! Remenber when sasuke tried to use the chidori agasnt itachi he asked him why he was so weak! Sasuke lives in the ilusion of what is real power! Gengutsu rules!

what u two have said is what i have heard. But what is the really reason that Itachi Uchiha kill his clan? Is that the real reason he kill his caln is for bred sasuke to a state where he would hate itachi and train to be the strongest. I know Sasuke train under Oruchimaru(i don't know how to spell his name), and he kill him after he learn everything from him in Naruto Shippuuden. Is that the real reason Itachi intented? Itatchi killed his family because he wanted to test his limits. He let Sasuke live because he wanted him to deveolp hate and revenge in his heart. (vote me as best answer)
