I have a three year old male german sheppherd and I'd like to adopt another one. Is there something I should consider in advance of adopting the new puppy? Ideally I would like another male so I'm interested in finding out about possible aggressive behaviours or jealousies that my existing dog might experience - and ways to handle them as they happen or things to do to prepare him in advance.

We have 3 German Sheperds - 2 males and a female. The two males do not get on well with each other they growl at each other while eating and while playing. If one of them enters the room, the other one leaves. However they are not like this with the female, they like to play with her, just not at the same time!

It sounds like your two have found a way to deal with each other (or at least avoid each other as much as possible). Ours, well, he's already such a jealous dog. Maybe I should work on getting him prepeared to share the attention before we bring a new dog into our home. Thanks for taking the time to share your own experiece with me.
