I HATE Tom Cruise but i LOVE legend

This movie is awesome. Tom cruise plays a prettty stupid forest boy so it wasnt a hard strecth for him. On the other hand Tim Curry was the best Devil i have seen in any movie ever. I recommend this movie if you like fantasy movies. Get the original version instead of the directors cut. All the music is changed from Tangerine Dream with Pink Floyds Guitarist to some corny junk. Let me know what you think about the differences between the two versions. WHich is better and why?

I love this movie also. The first time I saw it I was a little girl, I am 24 now and I could always remember it. I have never come across it on dvd so haven't seen the directors cut.
I had to wait a long time until it was coming on the tv as so I could record it. I have a little girl now too, so I can not wait until she is older and can watch it. It is a real fantasy stories, it's great. The devil is a bit scary for younger children though don't you think. I would advise parents to just check first.

There are many versions out on DVD. Just check the internet. I am the same age as you so i was probably exposed to this movie around the same age. Yes, the devil scared the crap outta me.

Legend is one of my all-time favorite movies! i did have it on VHS lol, but have yet to get it for my DVD collection. i didnt even know there was a Directors Cut made. i will have to remember to find the orginal version then, cause the music was awesome!
and yeah..lol it wasnt a stretch for Cruise was it? hahaha! Tim Curry is a great actor in my opinion, even when he isnt recognizable the man is great!..which is probably the sing of a fabulous actor in itself.
