Is this a legitimate company or a scam?

I had been searching for legitimate home-based typing jobs and I came across typistjobs.net. I was convinced that the company is a legitimate one. Then I made the purchase through credit card yesterday, a one-time fee of $49.95. I didn't think the transaction was processed because after I pushed the confirmation button, an 'error occurred in processing your request' appeared on the screen. But then, I received an e-mail from the gateway(linkpoint) re receipt of transaction made, but I still haven't heard from the support staff of the website. I sent them about 5 e-mails today. I still have not heard from them. Does anyone know if this site is legitimate or a scam? Thanks.

I don't think it's a scam. I received an e-mail from the support staff yesterday and provided me the members link. Thanks.

I would never trust a company that asks for cash in advance for them to find you work. If they are fully legitimate they will make their money from charging the people that they are supplying workers to, they should not be charging you for them to find you work.
