I think Twenty20 is a sort of spoiler. Cricket has been one of the unique games, much different from other popular games like football, rugby, tennis, etc. The classical form of cricket i.e. test matches are a treat to watch if you have a bit of patience. You get to see the class of batsmen and bowlers in a test match. But, one day game also had enough to allow players to show their class, and it was really fast paced and exciting exciting at the same time. It provided a chance to batsmen and bowlers alike, though bowlers were little subdued these days. I think 20-20 is not having any thing at all for bowlers. Its like some king is thrashing the ball all round the place and the slaves are just throwing the ball to him. I would never like something that so imbalanced, even though I expect it is more exciting and fast paced. And wait a minute, am I watching a cricket match or a football match with penalties and all!!!

20 x 20 is a apt play for attracting uninterested people but this is a game, you cannot change the game at your whim and fancy.
