I listened to Tony Iommi solo works, The 1996 Dep Sessions and 2000 Iommi and I just can say that these albums are great! The first I mentioned contains songs played by Iommi and sang by Glenn Hughes (great songs, I prefer From Another World), while the second one contains songs sang by various modern rock singers, such as Henry Rollins, Serj Tankian, billy Corgan, Peter Steele etc.

I agree with you, the solo albums were great I especially love the songs he did with ozzy and Phil Anselmo from Pantera. The only I wish he'd do is an instrumental album as that would be a guitar player dreams. Although one negative thing he used the tritone too much in his solo career as in the intro riff of their self titled song Black Sabbath except with distortion that was my only complaint. Iommi rules the Guitar! !
