When was your first contact with Yoko Kanno music?

Yoko Kanno - This is a picture of Yoko Kanno, famous japanese music composer. There use to be times when it was almost impossible to get a photo of her. Now she's not so strict about it;)

Do you remember what was your first contact with Yoko Kanno music? An anime you watched? Maybe a cd or mp3 your friend gave you? I remembere there used to be a site where girl posted anime music that she liked in form of mp albums, free to download... There was couple songs from Macross Plus, Vision of Escaflowne and opening of Record of Lodoss War TV. I momentaly fell in love with them and with the voice of Maaya Sakamoto. after thather music made me watch many anime and films.
