I moved here in China two years ago because I got a job here. I needed to adapt to the weather, language and oh! "homesickness". I think after 6 mos. i already well adjusted.

In India, a lots of educated girls migrate to States, UK and European countries, because they find the Indian boys working there as their partners and after marriage they migrate there on workpermit visa. Otherwise, most indian girls marry among their known contacts, families and some of them are their distinct relatives. Most of them marry a guy who is within the state of Karnataka, a very few marry guys who belong to this state, but working in other states. Millions of Indians are working in Middle east and these girls migrate there and if need be work there to enhance the income.

Same as you, I have to move here because I married with the Dutch guy. What is so difficult for me is Dutch language. I don't speak Dutch yet. Only know it a little since my husband speak Dutch with the kids. Missing my family in my home country is one of the difficulty that I had before.

Dutch language is so difficult. I know that. But now, i can speak little bit dutch because my husband never talk English anymore to me. If i don't understand what he said, then he will translate me to English. This is how the way my Dutch become better :) Yeah, i also sometimes miss my family and also my friends and my ex-collega.
