I have learned english for several months.I learn,listen,read,etc..but i don't think i can master engish, because i find it is very difficult to grasp the meaning of the words properly.Sometimes i feel very dejected. In order to do better,i do my best to acquire confidence. It is difficult to begin, and then it becomes easier than before...oh,i will insist on leanring english every day...

Yes, English is a difficult language to learn. We have many words that are spelled the same, but depending on the context are said differently and mean different things. For example dove - a bird and dove - the act of diving into a pool can be confusing to a beginner. You seem to have a very good vocabulary and right now the best thing you can do is practice. If you have questions, feel free to post them here and I am sure people will be glad to help. Keep at it, you will do fine.

Ask anytime you want. Just keep working on it. It is tough to learn but you will feel good knowing you did it.

For me... the best way to master the English language is to use it as often as you can... it's like try to forget your mother tongue and think that English is the only option for communicating with others... Aside for that... read a lot of English books... not the classical novel type but the simple ones... start with children's books... then watch a lot of english movies and television programs... Reading english comics from time to time would also help a lot...

Sweetie, I only speak two languages, English and bad English, and let me tell you it ain't easy to learn English even if it is your native language. This is primarily because English is a conglomeration of several other languages, with few of the words actually having true "English" origins. It's not you, it's our language. In reading your post, I would have to say that you are mastering English quite well. Don't sell yourself short. You actually have a greater command of the language than many of my fellow native Texans do.

Hey zuiyirenjian. I find harder to spell your name, that learn English ^^ English is the most used language in the world, and to be honest, for me, it wasn't very hard to learn it. Indeed, I was studying it from the school, but English isn't a really difficult language to learn.
