With football season started, everybody is happy to see their respective teams play one another. Nothing matters than winning and nothing matters more than winning the title. But there is certainly one guy that Chicago fans(and I) sure hope nothing will go wrong...and that's Rex Grossman. I can talk the faults and errors that he has done before but that's not what I'm looking for. So, I ask you guys(especially you Chicago fans), will Rex ever live up to expectation?

Against the Chargers, he did look better than last year to me. He held on to the football when he was hit very hard and sacked in the first quarter. He is scrambling more and stepping UP in the pocket, instead of retreating and throwing off his back foot. While his interception was underthrown, Bernard wasn't really paying attention on that route to see that the ball was coming his way (even though Rex overthrew a wide open number 88, Desmond!). I don't fully blame Rex for that interception. I have wanted Griese as our starting QB since we signed him, but I (and Griese) will have to be resigned to him being backup. I think Rex will continue to improve, after all, last year was his first full and healthy year as QB. And if he doesn't, we do have depth at QB and need to go in another direction if Rex isn't improving. I'll say this, Rex is tough, emotionally and physically. No one else has taken as much crap this off season than him. Now, about those running backs! Someone please teach them how to protect that football!! I like Cedric and Adrian, but the fumbles deep in Charger territory are what cost us the game!!! Our defense is still AWESOME!!!! GOOOOOOOOO Bears!! PEACE
