I have this friend who says her guy friend (a friend friend...nothing else) keeps making references to them being a couple or joking about it, when they are not. So she was wondering if she should ask him this: Are you making these constant references to us as a couple because it's your timid way of expressing what you want or because you want to torture me for not wanting what you want? LOL Do you think he would get the message and not feel too hurt? And *finally* leave her alone?
