i'd just like to know if anyone knows how much associated content pays for an article. been writing articles for some sites but somehow the pay never seems to be worth thr trouble. what about associated content?

It depends on the article, my average is about $5. But they also pay a performance bonus based on pages views, and it can add up quickly if you get lots of readers. I won't get rich but have made some extra money. I think it is worth my time.

wow thanks for the quick response. i think that's reasonable enough. sigh. i just learned right after i opened this discussion that associated content doesn't pay writers outside USA. that's bad for me. i'm not a US citizen. tsk, tsk. i guess i'm off to craigslist then. but thanks for dropping an answer

About how many words are you submitting per article? Just thought it would be a diffeerent angle to the same discussion, and you seem more seasoned than the few of us here. :-)

My articles probably average around 700 words. I try to write at least 400 words per article but some are much longer.

I have not been very active on that site, but my one article paid $3 for about 500 words. Hope that helps you.

They pay you between $3 - $20 per article depending on the quality. I have gotten $6 for my first article that I submitted, which was nice since it was my opinion on Kmart and was so easy to write. But the only bad thing is when you submit an article you can't submit it anywhere else, but otherwise it pays fairly well.

Ive been wrtiting For Helium for a while now,the site i like...the choice of subjects to write about is vast. I think it has to be for the love of putting pen to paper...because the earnings would appear to be relatively tiny.... But if like me you just enjoy putting an experience or a story downcon paper maybe its a good site for you to look up??? I would be quite interested to hear frm anyone else re what they think of Helium..?? But Associated content i know nothing about. Its all good fun at the end of the day..but writing is very time consuming.
