Why Are All Of George Bush's People Resigning?

Okay, why are all of George Bush's people resigning? Isn't it odd that they are all resigning one right after another. One resigned because he said that $150,000 a year wasn't enough money. (WHAT?) One said that she was resigning for some other silly reason. One wants to be a professional speaker. And one resigned because he was not popular anymore although I had never heard of him. And even Tony Blair had to step down. So what do you think is going on?

It's a combination of rats leaving a sinking ship and political realities. This is Bush's last term since legally he can't seek a third term in office. Which means his top people will be out of work after the next election anyway. The smart move is to look for a new job now instead of waiting until after the election when whoever replaces Bush replaces them with his own team.

Okay, you know what? You make absolutely good sense. It is a smart business decision for them to leave now. I just have never seen so many people resign or get fired as I have with this presidency in the last year or so.

Tony Blair wasn't re-elected, not that he's one of Bush's "people". And the recent resignation was a guy leaving to run for Senator....
