do you put on your seat belt when driving or when your sitting beside the driver

Hi there! I don't usually drive but I'm usually in the passenger seat. I always put on my seat belt mainly, for safety purposes. I always ask my son, too, who always sit at the back to put on his seatbelt. Another reason is that the cops or MMDA here usually keep an eye on the seatbelts in the passing vehicles and I wouldn't want my husband to be given a ticket just because I'm too lazy to put my seatbelt on.

well thats right. good for you that you put your seatbelts on. just remeber always to put your seatbelts. remind your family to put it on. always remeber the safety of other people.

Oh yes, I always do specially when my husbnad is the driver,once i got in,he'll tell me to put the seatbelt.Sometimes I scold him because he insist of putting it on even we are only going few blocks away or to the next village..sometimes I say,it's ok..there's no more police..and he'll said not only because it is a law but primarily because it is for our safety.

ah ok. but some people keep neglecting to put their sealbelt even if its the law. well i think a lot of people do put their seatbelt on but some dont. but sometimes i feel lazy to put it on. i just wont to sometimes. but i still do even if im feel lazy doing it.

I don't drive, so I'm always a passenger in a car. I insist on wearing a seatbelt, and if there are not suitable seatbelts available I will not get in the car I will not ride in back seats that still have lap belts, and I will not ride in the middle seat of a car because there are lapbelts.

yes, its better to be safe than sorry. i think a lot of people are too lazy to put it on. they are too confdent that they will meet any accident. wel i think we cant say what we are going to happen to us. so i think we should put it on. its not a difficult job. its not hard to remember that we should put it on. well thanks for the post.
