For some reason, I don't know why, last year I hardly got any cross stitching done at all. Most of my artsy fartsy stuff was centered around scrap booking, quilting or crochet. But this summer has been nothing but cross stitch for me. I have completed quite a few projects (I had a bad habit of starting stuff and then moving on to toher things before I finished) I have done more stitching in three or four months than I have in years! I wonder why this is. Does any one else ever go through periods of "blah I dont wanna do nothing" then followed by periods of whipping stuff out left and right? Not just with cross stitch, but with any hobby?

I definately get the same way. I've got a cross stitch project that I've been working on for a very long time. I don't want to move on to anything else until it's finished, but at the same time I'm not getting anything else done. I've probably got about 5 different cross stitch projects in progress now. I'm hoping I get some time to myself during Christmas vacation when the kids are absorbed in their new toys.
