do you drink a glass of water before each meal? drinking a glass of water before eating means less food is needed in order for you to feel full. I do not drink a glass of water before each meal sometimes. However, I drink water before eating sometimes. try it. it is a weight loss reduction idea. water has no calories - but drinking very cold water can actually cause calories to be burned, since the body must work to raise the temperature of the water to body temperature. I would want to consistently try this. since drinking water means that you could eat less. water is valuable. and if made into a habit it has offered a lot of benefit.

I have to force myself to drink ANY water. I don't need to lose any weight thankfully. But I did have one point about drinking cold water. Cold water on an empty stomach should be avoided. It is actually a stomach irritant and you could end up with a stomach ache.

I drink alot of water during the day, sometimes upward of a gallon, and eat a lot less. But the quip about drinking cold water causing calories to burn isn't all that true. You would have to be drinking straight ice, because by the time it gets to the digestive system, most of it has already warmed up some. Anyways, I found that there are other benefits to drinking alot of water, such as healthier skin, less acne breakouts, saving money on groceries of course, and just feeling healthier in general
