Hi guys...I would frequently be informing you with some helpful windows tips...Before we continue with our registry tweaks, put a shortcut to registry on the desktop for easier purposes... Just click on the desktop, choose 'new' then 'shortcut'.In the target box, enter 'C:\WINDOWS\regedit.exe'.Click 'next' and enter the shortcut name...save and close. Now,using the following technique,we will Bypass the Windows XP welcome screen and automatically log into our Windows account(saves time). Some people might consider it as unacceptable security risk but if you have only one Window user account, you can tell Windows to bypass the blue welcome screen. 1. Get inside your registry, then go to 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon'. 2. Double-click the 'DefaultUserName' entry, type your user name, and then click OK. 3. Double-click the 'DefaultPassword' entry, type your password under the value data box,and then click OK. 4. Double-click the 'AutoAdminLogon' entry, type 1 in the Value Data box, and then click OK. 5. Quit Registry Editor.Next time you restart your computer, you will be logged right in. Good Luck and Take care.
