Who is Jared Banks?

i too have been watchin oltl all my life as well... and i am very confused about how jess knows jared.. i really dont think he is from her past as tess. because he would have called her by that name..i really am confused on that one!! but i think we will find out soon enough i was shocke to see nash open his phone and see her pic there i think he is going to bring it all out...cant wait to see what is in that closet...lol...

I'm not positive, but I think Jessica may have help send him to prison for something, years ago. I know some people think that he's from Tess's life, but he hasn't called her that or referred to that at all, and most people she encounters that knew her as Tess, call her that, not knowing who she really is. It should be interesting to see how this unfolds, now that he's so involved in her life.

I don't think they have really shown it unless I missed it also. But from the interaction with Jessica and his being introduced at first when he was in prison, I'm guessing that he is from Jessica's past when she was Tess and that Tess' interaction with him, apparently something she did to him or some sort of betrayal, is the reason he was in prison. Of course he knows nothing of the split personality that Jessica suffered from.

It's definitely from Tess' past I believe. She was freaking out the other day - banging on the door and NASH opened up the door and asked her what she was doing there...
