How many post I need before I have a star above my username?

The star doesn't have annything to do with how many posts you have. You get a star when people rate your discussions positive. I will rate this one for you

You need to respond 100 discussions (the number between brackets following your username) so you get a star.

You need to have minimum 100 posts before you get a star besides your user-name. I think you have joined just now like me. I had star with no. 7 and now in just couple of hours I got star with n0. 8. So keep responding.

Hi there, The star is just the mylot rating system. When you reach one hundred posts, the star appears with a number in it and that tells you what other members think of your posts. I dont know that it increases your earnings but i think that in a lot of cases, its a good indicator of how your discussion skills are developing. I personally dont care one way or the other what my star says lol, I just enjoy getting into discussions with people. Welcome to mylot and happy posting!

Hi there, actually it really depends on how good you are here with your responses. People here will judge your response by marking as the best response or even rate it with positive "+" rate. I have noticed some newbies here that actually doing a great participation here in mylot, and i have seen some newbies with few numbers of posts but totally have Star Rating #10 even #9 with their username.
