Friends, we recently performed the poojaa of God of first rsepect... 'Lord Ganesh'. Lord Ganesh is the remover of all obstacles of human life and we respect by the name "Bighneshwar' for this also! We pray 'Lord Ganesh' for wisdom, success and achievement. It is celebrated in schools, colleges and many other educational establishments, socio-cultural clubs, business associations, residential localities and so manyorganisations. 'Lord Ganesh' the elephant headed God is also addressed as 'Ganapati' that is the chief of many persons. Hope, you all may have celebrated / celebrating it with much encouragement. In many places it is celebrated through the week also. Please share your response.

In my home we celebrate ganesha for 5 days.Every day we have a prayer in the morning and in the evening. It is very pleasing during and after the prayer. Also the first day was full of joy.But on the 5th day we all feel sad as it is the time of getting departed fromt he lovable god Ganesha, we call him as Ganapati. But then we say "Ganpati Bappa Morya, Pudcha Warshi Lawkar Ya".
