What is going to happen when all these guys are no longer able to tour, like Rolling Stones,Police,Styx,Foreigner,Ozzy,Led Zepplin,Def Leppard,Van Halen....etc? Who is going to take their place? I don't think the staying power or talent of the "Supergroups" is around anymore.

Not to worry, bands from the 1990s with then be old geezers and will start going on tour to make money. And bands from the early 21st century will probably do the same eventually, after seeing the success that many '80s bands have had.

Yeah, but I really can't think of any from the 90's on up, that would have the "Classic" type hits that you hear all the time.

I think there will always be bands like that. Every generation will have their super-bands, even if the rest of us do not think they are all that.

i think there's no band replace them .. not even a chance!! listening to modern music just makes me bored all the time .. can't stand it!! today they don't make music anymore, they sell sensations and gossips. posers!

Yes, alot of the new stuff seems to all blend together and sound the same after a while, and I become bored with it too. I spend more time changing channels, and give up after a while. I guess with no talent they have to have scandle and gossip to keep you interested. #:)

yeah .. i mean.. well .. people like emo or things like that. it's just like gimmick... no feeling at all but corporate sell out. we used to listen to a heart when we listen to music... gossips and scandal last only weeks .. soon people will get over it .. too bad they don't make music back in those good ol days
