I was waiting for a parent to pull out of a parking spot after they picked up their pre-schooler today....I was about to take her spot, when someone in a van came around the back of me and took the spot. How ignorant is that? I'm obviously waiting for it. Instead I had to park at the end, take out my 9 month old who is fighting allergies and walk to the other end to wait for my kindergartner. Why do people have to be so rude?

Indeed it is very rude. A lot of people dont care about anyone but theirself. Gawd forbid that they have to walk a little further. At least you had a good reason (your baby). I work at a walmart and i see things like this all the time. Sometimes i just want to say something to people like this...

I don't mind walking normally. I don't even drive around for the nearest spot. I see people do it at walmart and target parking lots all the time. Its so rude.

The society is more "me-me-me", "I-I-I" and with that some people leave things like shame, courtesy, and decency at their front door (or they never had it to begin with). For them its all about "oh man, I'm so hawt, everyone should let me do as I please and they should salute me while I act like such a slob!" It's pathetic and its only going to get worse as society embraces the selfish trends. Then there is the classic "I'm better than everyone else mantra" that's why people take parking spaces, cut lines and act like total oafs. Someone didn't raise these people right, or they got it in their heads that "hey everything exists for me and if people get hurt well that's not my problem!" -_- I can go on with this, but I'll halt here.
