Hello im a mother and i tend to stay up later throughout the evenings.. i put my daughter to bed around 8:30 evey night. I have to walk by her room to get to my roo and to get to the bathroom. each time i get up and walk down the hall i peak in and give her a kiss, on my way back trhough i sneak in again cover her and give her another kiss.. through out the middle of the night i get up to go to the bathroom i walk the extra 10 feet down the hall , peak in on her , cover her up kiss her and go bck to my room.. i do this often through out the night.. on and off.. i just cant sleep sometimes otherwisse. i think that since she has started full day school i feel a little sad by not seeing her as often as i used to and i want to get every kiss and hug in as i can... how often do you go in ytour childrens room each night to kiss them, recover them, check there windows, turn off or on there night light or just to look at them sleeping peacefully?

I don't know, may be a hundred times do I wake up and check on my kid. We live in a humid country so even with ventilation, the temperature is always hot. My child sweats a lot so I keep changing her shirt and dust her with powder throughout the night, I also have to be awake whenever she uses the bathroom, or have a drink of water.

I am much like you, My son is two and I have to walk past his room to go to the bathroom and go to the kitchen, and I usually peek in every time I walk by to cover him up, and sometimes to put him back in his bed. He is in a phase now, that he doesn't like to sleep in his bed at all and will get up and take his blanket and pillows to the floor. Even though the floor is carpeted I don't like him to do this. So when I check on him, I pick him up and put him on his bed. I never here a sound from his room but the next time I check hes back on the floor. I usually check on him right up till I go to sleep, and usually if I get up in the night I will check him then too.

I put my 7yr old son to bed around 8:30. Usually he reads or sings to himself until he is finally asleep about 9:30. I stay up until 12:00 or 1:00. Before I turn in, I check on him and turn off the lamp, give him a kiss, etc. I'm am usually back up around 3:00, and look in on him....then around 4:30, and once again at 5:30 when I wake my hubby up for work. It seems like I'm always up now that I look at it!!! YIKES!!!! I guess I just like to look at him while he's sleeping, because he looks so peaceful.

I check on my son frequently at night. At least I used to. Now we live in a place where the bathroom is between the bedrooms, so I open both bathroom doors when I go to bed. That way I can hear if he makes a noise and if I go to the bathroom in the middle of the night I can just look in on him. Sometimes I wake up and find that he woke up and climbed in bed with me, which is cute.

oh i dont know quite a few times for my baby it was like every hour when she first left my room to having a crib. but know it is only every few hours since I have a monitor I can hear her breathing and lots of times when i open her door she jumps up so i must be startling her so i try and do it less often.
