Ever been in a Haunted place ?

Have you ever been in a haunted place ? Share your experience here ...
As for me:
I work in a place where I heard some people talking about other beings in the buildings. Now that I moved to my new office, I still recall one incident that took place in my old office. My room was located in the basement of a two-floor building. A decent room that is a part of a research lab. The main lab door is adjacent to my office. Other doors are locked. Through my glass window u could notice whoever enters or exits the research lab. One night, I stayed with a friend of mine after working hours to finish some work on my laptop where he told me he beheld one of the janitors walking into the lab, it was 23:00, unusual time for the janitor to show up, we went out of my office to speak with the janitor but no one was there !!!
Similar incident happened to a colleague of mine in the building where my new office is, right now. He saw his boss walking into the opposite room but to his surprise, the boss was still in his office at the end of the aisle. In this building, you feel sometimes after working hours or at nite that the place has some aura. I have more stories about this building and the two surrounding buildings. Maybe it is nothing, who knows ....

haunted? places? no.. may i confess, as a 7 year old child i used to see strange beings @ nite, in my room, around my bed. people with black faces, red eyes, white, shiny teeth. i used to freeze in my bed looking @ them hovering around all night.
my father sent me to this "holy man" in makkah, in a mountain cave, i spent 3-7 with him drinking holy water that was blessed. the visions were gone. now as a grown man, i know they are there, it gets cold and my pores and hair on my body stands up. that was the sign...that they are there. just doesnt happen all the time.
as for haunted places like u have mentioned, i dont say its an unusual incident. it's practically a normal thing to me. as a child, i have exposed to these things. i dont scare easy.

Yes as you said, kids usually are exposed to this, they see things sometimes, they don't know what they really are but as they grow old they understand. I remember one guy, he is in his 40's now probably, he said when he was a little kid sitting with his family in the living room, he beheld a woman he doesn't know, standing at the kitchen door making a hand gesture to him 'come' she wanted him to walk over to the kitchen, he didn't of course, he was the only one who saw her. I wish i had actually went into a haunted house knowing it was haunted.
But i do have an experince although I'm not sure what really happened or if i was being delusional.
I was about 8 or 7 We lived in this apartment, it always felt strange, There was always soemthing that wasn't right in it. One day my brother at the time was 6 years old pointed into the hallway and said he sees a black man standing there. Obivously being 8 I got scared as well, and asked him what do you see. My brother told me, and then he started crying out of fear. We both ran into our moms room and I told her what my brother saw.
I have no reason to beleive my brother was exaggerating because He was legitmatley frightened. Like I said the apartment always felt weird and i had lots of ngihtmares as well
just one of my stories :)

Hey,
I don't know what to say...
Listen me and my friends started recently talking about haunted places... one of my friends was talking about his university being haunted and they used to play Ouija board and he told me some really scary stories.. then after a while weird things started to happen, I actually started feeling that every place is haunted I was scared for a whole week... then decided to never be scared of ghosts or genies.. they do exist but I believe they won't hurt us if we didn't get closer to them -hope I'm right- I really don't wanna be afraid again... the feeling sucks :s

It is not only ur friends but also there are stories of people who played the Ouija board then experienced contacts with ghosts, I know in person one lady who played a similar game and really suffered from some scary experience that lingered with her for a very long time, honestly I don't recommend playing such games. Yes u r right, they do exist but we (humans) are not supposed to get in touch with them, mess around nor use them. The rule is simple; stay away, say ur prayers, they won't harm u.

To be frank,I have never experienced this in my life.But my boyfriend told me in interesting thing.His father stayed in a small village one night.He went out to pee.Then something unexpected happened.He saw an old man with ancient cloths, went up and up although there was no ladder exsisted.It sounds amazing.I believe most ghosts do no harm to ordinary people if people dont hurt them on purpose.

Hi there Monica ....
That is some scary story really, I guess his father did not panic, instead, he showed courage. They say, these beings tend to hurt you, if they figured you're scared. Usually if I am gonna go pass by a place that is believed to be haunted and scary, I say my prayers.
