Has anyone had problems with a bank before?

I have recently been having problems with my bank. They froze my account for an endorsement issue. Probably won't be able to get a hold of any of my money till Nov. 3,2006 is the soonest date they are giving me. So in the mean time, I am screwed. Any one ever had any problems like this before? Any advice?
