mid-autumn festival is a traditonal fete day of china, people give each other mooncakes and eat them to show their wishes of reunion. as its name implied, mooncake looks like a moon in the sky, and it usually has the thickness of 1 to 2 centimeters and various of stuffing inside. it is said that they are meat offerings for the god of moon in the ancient time. but now, it become conventional food and present in mid-autumn day. most of mooncakes are sugary, which have confiture, nuts, chocolote or something else in. my favorite mooncakes are those have vitellines or ham inside, which taste salty and sugary. now i have one beside me, and i can help eating it!

I have eaten moon cakes. It's a good taste, a good smell. But I only knew the moon cake without stuffing. If it has too much sugar, it'll no good for diabetic.
