I'm always interested in what part of the medical field other nurses are in, and why you chose it.
I'm a registered nurse first assistant in surgery. I love seeing both aspects of my patients care from when they are awake and asleep. And plus I love blood and guts!

I am a R.N. and while I worked many fields in my career, my favorite and the one where I have most of my experience was Emergency Room. Though I never wanted to see people hurt, trauma was my main interest. I loved having to know what to do without thinking about it...to be prepared to handle anything that came through that door. I have many fond memories...yes, memories as I "retired" two years ago to spend time with our pets, work on the house and to be free to travel with my husband on business.
