Are Pet Good for Mankind?

The basic meaning of "pet' is an animal we keep foe emotional rather than economic reasons, a pet animal is kept as a companion,
someone said that a pet can be something different to each menber of the family, another baby to the mother, a sister or brother to an only child,
a grandchild to the elderly, but for all of us ptes provide pleasure and companionship.
Do you think pets are good for mankind?

As you have mentioned all the good things above, I think that you have helped us find the right answer. I quite agree with you opinion that pets not only provide us with pleasure, but companionship as well. Absolutely, pets are good for mankind.
