I have been to one of the tsunami affected places in Southern part of India and really felt happy the good work done by some of the NGOs for the tsunami effected fishermen in Tamilnadu. They have built a beautiful independent houses in some places and apartment type of buildings in some areas which are closely 200+. They are really well builtand have good ventilation, and little away from the sea so that there will not be similar tragedy in their life again. Govt. is giving them the drinking water facilities and also providing sanitation systems to the affected people. Its really appreciable for all the donors who have voluntarily contributed for the noble cause and given a timely helping hand.

Oh that is so good to hear that things are being done to help them, I have a nephew who is going over to India at the end of October to volunteer for two years, he is a plumber so maybe that is the sort of thing he is going to do...I wish everyone in these areas luck for the future.
