It's not really any different than meeting anywhere else. I'm marrying a man I met online.

I absoutely believe you can fall in love with someone online, I met my husband online almost 12 yrs ago and have been married 10 yrs not with 2 kids. So yes it can happen. Alot of people use online dating and been very successful in finding there one true love. Just be very cautious, becuase there are alot of bad people ou there that will take a advantage of it.

I think it would be rare for it to work out, but it's possible. A girl I work with met her husband online, and they dated and ended up getting married and they are about to have their second child. So nothing is impossible I guess!

no, I do not believe in online relationships. however there are stories of people who lived happily with their partners. and they started out online. I could not imagine how you could go with dating and having an intimate relationships with a partner you only knew online. some would get disappointed once they see their loved one on the net. well, some people are not basing their love on looks alone. so they believe in online relationships. me and my wife did not start in online relationships. we saw each other in a party. there are lots of stories and news of people happily married with each other and they start out sa online lovers. well of course it would always change and depend to each person. but as for me, I do not believe in online relationship. do you?

So you're saying that I didn't really love my husband for the first 6 months we were together?

hi Rouwel! I perfectly agree to you! I think that chat and community are a common place in which you can find nice people, but virtual love without dating it's not a real feeling. Thanks for your opinion! =)

I would have to say it is possible since it happened to me. My husband and I met each other by chance on the internet. We weren't looking to find anyone online, we just kind of stumbled upon each other in a chat room and then ended up keeping in touch. I know many people don't believe it's possible, but my husband and I have been together for years now and have a very rewarding and wonderful marriage. I am the happiest I've ever been in my life, and my relationship with him has by far been the best of any of the other relationships I've ever been in, and it's the only one that began online.

I think anything is possible and the world is changing. You never know. It's hard to trust anyone, online or not so is there really a differece. Times are changes and more and more people are meeting online because of online dating sites. Everytime you turn the TV on, there's a commercial on for one of the sites. So maybe that's going to be the way of the future....

yes it is possible because i have encountered having a relationship through net or cellphone chatting. i once fell inlove with this guy whom i talked to for like 4 years. i fell inlove with him because he was such a very different person from those i have met. i was very comfortable with like in such a way that we talk for hours on the phone eventhough we dont really day anything at all. the longest talk we ever had was 11hours nonstop. there we ate together, watch tv in a way that he tells me to what channel i should go stuff like that. but then we had to end everything up. actually i dont even remember the reason why we stopped what we had. maybe, it was time for us to let go off each other since we knew that nothing of what we are doing will go farther.
