There are a lot of people who change their mobiles too often. Whenever a new mobile comes to the market, they take them. Do you belong to some of them? How often do you think we should be changing our mobile. I have been using the same mobile for the past 2 years. I am planning to buy a new one though. Do you think it is advisable to change the mobile once the warranty is over?? Suggest me a phone too..

Hi, i think a lot deends upon the kind of person you are, what funds are available to you and your nature. I for one, have had my mobile for the past 4 years and being Nokia, its still going strong and there is nothing wrong wioth it, plus i am a careful user, so have maintained my cell too, and its just like new to me still. Agreed there are many versions that keep coming in the market and they tempt me too, but every second day there is a new one, how many will you change? can you afford to keep chaning them? is there such a requirement or its just for showing off to others? as once we are keeping it for self using then any handset thats good, brought once , can last upto 5-6-7 years too, but its advisable to change or buy a new one incase you are wanting to exchange it, lest it gets obselete, otherwise whats one brought, till the needs not there, theres no need to buy a new one i feel. Yes, those who would maybe have too much of money to spend and would otherwise spend it whether the needs there or not, guess its their persoanl wish, and if they want they can buy a new one maybe every month too, would all depend upon your nature. I would suggest there is nothing to beat Nokia, and that remains number one, so incase you are wanting to buy, go for that alone as the battery lifes best in that.

I got one cellphone, and I do not intend to change it. When I was looking for a mobile, I researched everything, and the only way I would get a different one is if a better one is offered by my service provider and if the rates go down. Now if I had to get a cheaper model, then as soon as the term is over, then I would get the best one. I like Sony Ericsson W810! the best. That is the one I have.

Hello sreekumarn86, I have been using the same mobile phone for a year now. I don't often change my phone unless its worn out and defective. I know lots of people change theirs everytime a new model comes out but I am not one of them. I think once for more than year or two to change your mobilephone is about often enough. I think its advisable to change one's mobile if it has a defect already and the warranty is over. There's lot of good phone available in the market right now. I think Nokia, Sony Ericksson and Motorola are good brands. I suggest you check out their websites to see which mobilephone you might like depending on its specs and features. :-)
