I must admit that I was one of the few who still supported this government of Madame Gloria Macapagal Arroyo ever since she assumed the office from the fall of former president Estrada. Sadly, her government did not live up even 25% of the expectations of the people. The government is now a shame to all of us. I have nothing againts GMA personally, what I could not take for long is the shameless rape of the nation lead by the people around here. Last week, when the son of the Speaker talked about a certain mystery man, I made my guess: Mike Arroyo! And, sad to say, I am right! How I wish the president listened to the advice given to her at the start of her administration: send your husband to the moon. Now, her husband is the greatest source of shame for her government. Unfortunately, nobody could fire the First Gentleman. Shameless! That is the best word that could be described of her government. Sad! That's the second one. I am just worried for her after her term expires on 2010, surely she will be barraged by thousands of cases. I hope she will not go to the same process Erap experienced.

She will not go the same process Erap experienced, because she wiill go to the states the minute her term of office expires. She cannot stand a trial because she is guilty, and Erap face the trial because he is not guilty.Don't you realize that Eraps case are just political maneuver to oust him.Didn't you realize too that even when Gloria was a senator, she is corrupt then, because when he authored the bill for globalization, there is a safety net. This safety net is intended for farmers, fisherman, and other sector. This safety net is worth millions of pesos, and they did not reach the hands of the fisherman and farmers, because Gloria pocketed the money for her own.

True, just so true. Shameless indeed! Sad too! But I disagree with you on one point, I hope she went to the same process as Erap. That's just fair. That's justice. She should go through the trials, and then there we would judge her case. She's not guilty yet, but once proven, then it is rightful that she too, is incarcerated. Along with her family, by the way.

I was actually shocked of this scandal because the whistle blower is a ason of a known ally of GMA. There is really something wrong in our country. Greed and corruption is manifested everywhere..even in LGU's and baranggays. If indeed GMA corrupted amd made their families rich too during her term, then she should by all means be brought to court to.
