I recently spent the night at a friend's house. I slept in the supposidly haunted room, and absolutely nothing happened. There have been tells of strange things happening in that room for a long time, and there are several people I know who won't even go into that room, much less sleep in it. The tempature will drop noticeably in the room, people have heard footsteps and voices, some have even awoke to see figures standing at the foot of the bed, and it is even believed that a family pet was lost in that room. The dog wasn't let outside, the last place it was seen was in that room, and it just vanished. I haqve actually slept in the room 2 or 3 times with no problems what so ever, even though I'm supposedly more sensitive to these things according to some because I am blind. Have you ever had a haunting experience? What happened? Why am I not experiencing these things that almost everyone else who goes there experiences?

I was always told that a house we lived in years ago was haunted. I was only about 4 yrs old. They say a woman killed her husband, not in the house, but on the property before the house was put there. My parents would hear cars pull up and see head lights, they would go outside and nothing would be there. They would hear a knock on the door and open the door, but no one was there. They heard foot steps. One time, my mom was in the bath room combing her hair and she felt someone rub her head, she turned around to see if it was my dad, but no one was there and no one was even home at all. We lived in that house from the time I was 3 -7 yrs old. The only thing I ever seen was a rocking chair rock by itself. Anyway, that house gave me the creeps. I am terrfied of ghostly encounters. I have taken pics of my children and once I get the pics developed...I can see orbes in the pictures. It is weird. I definitely believe in spirits.

I believe in ghosts too! Reading your post gave me chills. I couldn't live in a house like that . My mom believes that our house is haunted but I can't relly say beacause I have not lived there in ten years. She believes that my uncle haunts her house and that he plays around by thrownging things and pulling her hair.

I haven't had any expriences as that also, though i'm always told that this or that are haunted. I have no eerie feelings either nor felt goosebumps, that's why I'm also curious on what's the feeling of experiencing it. But I also thought, that these could might have something to do on how people's mind think of, on how they would want to interpret things or on how their imaginative thinking works.

I've experienced a few things before but nothing major. I wouldn't mind investigating a few haunted places though. I'm quite fascinated by hauntings.

well, exactly nothing could be said being so sure, because some people believe on these supernatural things and somedont , but what i believe is definitely there is something in this world which is beyond our clutch , and about this haunting incident i would like to say that what people generally see arround them , it only sometimes creates a hallucination which sometimes create a state of mind which prompts you to listen those sounds and all, as u said you are blind so this may be the reason you havent seen any such thing, but yeah if suppose someday you are caught somewhere in between real ghosts then nor even you `ll feel rather you can even experience it of your own.lolz

When I was a teener, it happened in our haunted house. umors are already spreading in the neighborhood even before we rented the house a long time ago. But since it is cheap and the only house my parents could afford for us to live, we lived in. It is very accessible to church, school, market, mall, etc. But the haunting began as soon as we stepped inside and it never stop until the very last day we slept on that house. many unexplainable things happened. At first I am so afraid until I got so used to it. And thanks God, we all came out alive of that house. It is our home for almost two decades!

I have experienced things that I can not explain. I cannot say that they were paranormal, but I cannot say that they weren't. Some people I guess have to be extra sensitive in that area. Who knows, it might happen some day for you. Maybe don't try as hard. Let it come natually.

I'd say be glad you have not experienced anything! I am such a baby when it comes to things like that. I was just talking to my husband about ghosts and he told me that when he was young he used to see a civil war ghost in his house all the time. At first I thought he was joking, but he was serious! He said that he would saw a man in full uniform walking the hallways several times.
