I was thinking of selling some things online, either through ebay or just setting up a site and advertising it a lot. Do you think it's good to sell things on the internet, and where do you think the best place to do it is?

It depends on what you are selling. You can do garage sales to sell stuff. I tend to use ebay for items I think are worth more than what a garage sale will bring in. Ebay does charge a fee, but they also provide some safety precautions - like feedback ratings, and ways to report people who don't pay or people who don't ship their items. So I do like using ebay. but for cheaper items, a garage sale might be better because it doens't have the overhead.

ebay charges a small fee (2 cents i think) per item you post. and it also takes a percentage of the money. but the other person pays the shipping. you can either sell online and not have to do anything but sit on your butt at the computer or you could set up a yard sell and go through all that trouble. id pick ebay
