a great toy for my cat and my kids to have fun

as you all know i was sick with a cold,its alittle better now,but anyway yesterday i was playing with my cat,he loves to chase the red dot on the lazer toy,well i decided to try it with my kids and omg it kept them busy for 2 hours just chasing the dot around and trying to catch it.so i found the other attachments to it which one was batman,ball,star,a heart,i love u.it was so cute because they really thought they had to catch it and everytime it went on the wall they would try to reach it like it was a butterfly.my one son ofcourse wanted to try and play with it but i told him only i can do this because they can hurt your eyes,you have to do it a certain way.so it was starting to get dark and we were watching a movie and i was trying to put my son to sleep,and he said to me mommy i have to catch i love you before i go to bed,i said why?and he said because i love you mommy and i want to give it to you to hold.it just melted my heart.so i took the lazer out and put it on the wall he went over to the wall and he pretened to catch i love you,and said here mom i love you now i can go to bed.so ofcourse he went to bed after that and i played with the cat with it for awhile.but its a cheap toy and keeps animals and kids very amused and busy,just have to becareful they dont play with it though.

As you probably know I'm alergic to cats. The dog I had before the one I have now loved chasing the lazer lights, and flaslights too. He would just go bonkers lol, was too funny!

It was a ton of fun watching the old dog I had chase the lazer light or flashlight. The dog we have now is a shihtzu and she seems to be "too smart" for that. I don't think I would get one of those cats though, as interesting as they seem my shihtzu would probably make that cats life a living hell. Thanks anyways though I really appreciate it.

That's cute. I wish I could keep my cat amused with that. but he likes things that requires me to actually interact and play with things. like strings and stuff. when he was a little boy he'd play fetch, which is the cutest thing I've ever seen a cat do. But he won't play catch anymore.

Aww, that's sweet.
My cats found it mildly amusing when the former roomie had one, but she lost it - she's really good at losing things. I don't know where it went, but it doesn't seem to have made the move & I haven't seen it here either.

your son had almost melted my heart either..he is just so sweet..i'm glad that your colds is now over and that you didn't infect the rest of the family on it..you seem to be having a wonderful day and i am happy to hear that..

thanks,hes such a sweety and he always knows what to say to melt my heart too,and the twins do the same thing.what cuties they are.im glad too that my cold is better but now my son and husband have it,i thought for sure they wouldnt get it but they did.take care.pattie

I have no human children. So I had no idea they would get excited over a laser toy. I do have a couple. However none of my cats get too enthused over them. A couple will kinda bat at the little red dot with their front paws. None of them will really chase it around the room.

For your cat it's okay, but try and keep your kids in sight, that is, if they are under 18 ;). Also make sure they dont point it into any eyes, of anywhat. Becareful and have fun!

God things to have as far as it can create love and like to each other and not the dangerous stuff to have, for me, OK and better to create new wealthy condition and situation around. Why not?
