Blind cats

My cat, Boo is blind. You would have a hard time believing it if you saw him. He gets by fine and hardly ever walks into anything anymore, his whiskers are finely tuned I guess.
Do any of you have blind cats and do you treat them any differently?I make sure I talk to him a lot and pet him every time he walks by me.

Hi. Your Boo is very beautiful. I do not pesronally have a blind cat, but my friend does, and, like Boo, he is as much a "normal" cat as any other. He eats well, he purrs, he loves being stroked and petted. Of course he is kept indoors and not allowed out, which is unusual for a cat here in the UK, - but other than that he is fine. He was blind at birth, so he has never known any differently.
