Double the JOY and Halve the SORROW - Is this your love life?

The nice thing for me about being part of a couple is that I get to double the joy and halve the sorrows life is presenting us with. I cannot imagine how life would be without my partner next to me, and the idea of it, that someday he might leave the Earth life before I do so, makes me shiver from anguish. Are you very glad you have your significant other by your side? And could you imagine life without him/her next to you?

Though I really enjoy having my partner in my life and I am glad that he is in it, I can see my life without him as well. It would suck but I could move forward. I wouldn't have a choice really. I have kids and family that need me to be strong. I remember my first love and how much I enjoyed being with him. I couldn't see my life without him. When I left I was so sad and didn't know what to do with myself. I couldn't see the future with him not in it. I eventually did and I am happier now then ever. I think since experiencing such strong emotions through that taught me that I can be strong and move forward if I have to.

Yes I would agree with you. I am lucky to have my children and they give me much strength. You two are very lucky to have each other!

Hi Vicki2876, I understand what you are saying. At least you will not be all alone because you have your children, which are part of the love you share with your partner. Since we do not have children and only have one another is a different story as you'll agree. I simply don't see the point to be strong and move on when he will be gone. for what after all? There is not legacy, no children to take care off, and taking care of myself is not really something I would be bale to do I think, nor wishing to learn how really. TheFortunes

my friend, what will be will be , ultimately we are going to all meet in a better place in a better time. believe in GOD. we cant bargain with the truth, wheather we are right or wrong, wheather we are black or white, we are going to see our selves in the light, in the end. and believe GOD it will be the best, in the end. GOD will keep us going till the end and then........................ there will be paradise, unthought of joy, i am sure we are almost there. dont loose faith. kneel, bow, wait, hope and know good's coming our way. smiles, short life apple but fortunate to believe apple.

I agree with what you say. But don't think and worry about what will happen in future as it reduces the happiness in present time.God is very kind. Love is a form of God. Keep loving your partner. Fill him/her with love.

Hi Anuj291, and thank you for responding in this discussion ;) Thank you for calling me lucky, as I feel so at times, and at times I feel condemned to be at some point in time just like a swan that lost his/ger mate :) I am glad that you are again with someone, and ready to build your happiness with ;) TheFortunes

Yes and no, I love having him by my side, but I couldn't imagine how it would be without him here.

Thank you for responding in this discussion Gradyslady :) We would most probably be able to cope with it better than swans do, but we never know, and I'd rather remain guessing than living it :) TheFortunes
